Ishchenko Mikhail Igorevich

Ishchenko Mikhail Igorevich was born on October 8, 1996, a resident of the village of Motyakino, Maloyaroslavets district, Kaluga Oblast, and worked as a picker at a warehouse in the Moscow region. In 2019, he was sentenced on several episodes of part 1 of article 186 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Possession for the purpose of sale and sale of a knowingly counterfeit bank note of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation”) and part 3 of article 30, part. 1 article 186, part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Attempted sale of a knowingly counterfeit bank note of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation”) to 3 years' imprisonment, released on parole in 2021.

On June 26, 2024 he was sentenced under Art. 329 (“Desecration of the State Flag of the Russian Federation”), paragraph “b” of part 1 of Art. 213 (“Hooliganism motivated by political and ideological hatred”) and part 1 of Art. 30, part 3 of Art. 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism motivated by political and ideological hatred”). 3, Art. 208, Part 3 (“Preparing to participate in hostilities on the territory of a foreign state for purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to 10 years' imprisonment with the first 2 years to be served in prison and the remainder in a strict regime colony. On November 26, 2024, on appeal, the court imposed an additional punishment in the form of restriction of freedom after release for 1 year.
